    1. Diablo 3 Patch For Mac Os X

Hey there, I'm trying to install patch 1.14d on my iMac running osx Mojave. I understand there are several problems with running D2 on a mac, but 1.14b is running just fine, but I want to be able to play with friends and therefore I need 1.14d. To my problem, when I try to run the patcher, nothing happens.

The app is just bouncing on the dock and nothing more happens. I have tried reinstalling D2 and LoD several times without success. Anyone has any tips? Theres not much to go on when googling this (or my google skills might be lacking) Thank you.

We’re aware of a crashing issue when opening the Auction House on OS X systems. Our teams are working to resolve this in a future update. In order to prevent Diablo III from crashing, it is recommended to avoid opening the Auction House (and any AH related UI) until the issue is resolved. We’ll provide additional updates when more information is available.

We apologize about for any inconvenience this has caused, and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible. I’m not nearly as concerned about the AH issue as I am about crashing as I enter games. It was a known issue during the beta, and would only happen to myself sparingly. However since the patch hit I’ve been dropping from games left and right. Pcmcia slot c300 2017. Obviously it will be fixed but as for right now it’s a waiting game, which is ironic since it’s what we have to do now to play.buh-zing. Has your D3 mac experience been similar?

Obviously I’m a MAC userI haven’t tried opening the AH yetall of my tabs work, friends list, options, etc. My big issue is that I can’t even play the game. I have tried public, private, different actsyou name it. Every time I hit Join Game I just stare at my little rainbow pinwheel spinning until I finally have to force shut down with the power button. This is a huge bummer because I only get a limited bit of game interaction with my real world schedule. Wife and baby fell asleep on the couch this afternoon, thought I was good to gothen this.

It really irks me after 2.0.1 due to the changes in the AH that might mean I could find something decent for a low cash of money. And also because I obviously want to take advantage of it before it gets disabled. Both my wife and I updated to OSX 10.9.2 immediately after loading the new patch. We have older (but different generation) iMacs.

Neither of us have experienced a crash in any aspect of the game except trying to access the AH. Hm, guess I could try updating my OS and see if that helps.

QUOTE @own.really? Not everyone has a computer specifically FOR gaming, but if it's capable of gaming, and meets all the required specs, why should we have to suffer a sub-optimal experience? They should really fix the Mac thing. That said D3 is not a very demanding game, 200-300 USD will get you a pc good enough to run it with high/max settings. My Mac issues:.Click “Auction House” – crash/freeze.Start a game instead of “save & exit” then “resume” – crash/freeze.Be in a party and the party leader starts a game – crash/freeze –This last one is unique. I’ll have to restart my Mac and when I open Diablo back up, the game starts with me in the party and in the game.

It skips the whole main menu, and seems to return to where I “should” be prior to the game freezing.Certain areas with grass and ground effects (FoM, and anywhere else that has Trees) have a very strange strobe effect that occurs to the water. It looks like it’s trying to be reflective (with reflections turned off) and just strobes white/grey very rapidly. It’s very odd and makes the frame rate drop.Lastly, the whole screen has a “wave” effect that runs diagonally across the screen as you move. Like when you record a CRT TV and watch the recording, but instead of being in the foreground, it’s a strange artifact that happens behind everything.

Makes it feel like your monitor is made of water and it’s kind of dizzying. Sent from my GalaxySIII. I ditched the mac client and went with my PC i just finished building The state of the MAC client was/is beyond frustrating, many of the issues Steve listed in his post above were longstanding and were known by Blizzard since the PTR/Beta.

Putting out a AAA title like this with these kinds of issues is not really acceptable when much smaller studios put out stable games with far less resources and time. I hope it gets fixed for you guys, in the meantime I will be running the opposite direction from the mac client as fast as I can with my PC.
